You want to slim down and you're really very motivated - just like every time you start a diet! Set goals but don't be too demanding on yourself. Apply the 80% rule: if you stick to at least 80% of your goals, chances are that your diet will be a success. Allow yourself a small margin of 20% for little slip-ups - which are quite natural! So if you've decided to stop the chocolate ice cream or the 4 cheese pizzas for 2 months, you don't have to give up if you have one before the time's up! No one is 100 per cent perfect and it's perfectly human to let go from time to time! Be kind with yourself! And remember - everything in moderation (including when you're on a diet)!
