Caramelized apple delight

For 4 people

Ingredients

2 large golden apples

1 lemon

20g / ¾ oz of caster sugar or fructose

10g / ¼ oz of reduced-fat butter

400g / 14 oz of reduced-fat fromage blanc

Powdered cinnamon

Preparation

Peel and dice the apples (remove the center and the pips) and pour the lemon juice over the top.

Use a non-stick frying pan to melt the butter.

Add the apples and make them melt into the butter for a few minutes.

Add the sugar and stir for a minute to caramelize them.

Place the cooked apples in a deep desert plate and cover them with fromage blanc. 

Sprinkle cinnamon to taste.
